Fauji Fresh n Freeze
SCBS is the principle consultant for FF for their entry to Foods business. Corporate giants FFC, entered the food business in 2013 by setting up a company named ‘Fauji Fresh n Freeze’ (FFF) and decided to go with SCBS for complete scope of delivery from Business Planning to capability building to delivery in the market.
SCBS has developed the Master Business Strategy with FFF and a 5 year business plan encompassing all aspects – financial input, capital investments, supply chain modeling and go-to-market strategy.
Meanwhile, SCBS provided its project management for the erection of the Fruits and Vegetable processing facility near Sahiwal. Fauji Fresh n Freeze is the first ever IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) fruits and vegetable plant in Pakistan with the aim of future diversification into VHT as well. On the technical support, we have Designed P&ID’s and layouts, helped FFF in selecting the suitable instruments, equipment and materials of construction.
SCBS has helped building a sustainable supply chain from farm to fork for fruits and vegetables.Liaised with international specialist to build FFF’s capability in Agribusiness starting from the very basics to operational levels. We continue to build on their market access especially foreign markets by engaging them with the right customers and networks abroad.
Another flagship turnkey project has been the setting up of Ice Cream Business from feasibility to full Launch in 10 months. In March 2009, we completed a green field ice cream project for a leading foods company in Pakistan. This facility has come up as the state of the art manufacturing site with world-class manufacturing standards. SCBS has not only executed the hardware part but also trained and developed the operations & maintenance teams and provided commissioning and post implementation support. We have recently completed 2nd expansion of this plant.
Savola Edible Oils, Iran
This project was started with the objective of improving productivity of existing filling and packaging lines and to reduce breakdowns and losses. Over a period of one year our consultants helped the company achieve the goal of 30% improvement in productivity and 40% reduction in losses.
Implementation of 5S and involvement of shop floor staff in a program of ‘continuous improvement’ were the key drivers of this change management program.
SCBS has provided consultancy to Unilever for expanding its shampoo and cream production facility. We handled various aspects of the project including inventory management, contractor management, engineering design of utilities piping and components and equipment installation. We also designed the day tanks for the soap and shampoo ingredients.
